5 of my Reflections

The trick to stop worrying about what others might think of you is to realize they’re too busy worrying about what others think of them to think of you.

If your work feels like too much work, it’s not the right work for you. Continue reading “5 Reflections + Quotes on Stress”

Book Club – May

2

First of all, I’m sorry.

I was not doing very well in March so I just stopped blogging for a while and I skipped a monthly Book Discussion. To be honest, I didn’t think anyone would notice, but I got a few messages from you guys asking me about it, and it totally made my week. Thank you.

Really. Continue reading “Book Club – May”

Montréal, Québec

Problem: Last week, I went to Montréal with a list of things to do, and I came back with an even bigger list of things to do the next time I go.

This seems to happen everytime I travel somewhere, but in Montréal, there really is a lot to do. Anyway, here’s what I did in only a few days.

Beauty & the Beast Book Tag

beauty-and-the-beast

So I was about to create a Beauty and the Beast Tag just for fun before the movie comes out, but then I searched through a few blogs and guess what, there’s already tons of them out there! And they’re way better than the one I had in mind, so even though I wasn’t tagged, I picked my fave and did it. (The creator of this tag wasn’t mentioned in the posts I read so I’m sorry I can’t link it back to their blog!)

Now the fun! Continue reading “Beauty & the Beast Book Tag”

5 Places I Want to See Again

There are many places on my bucket list (the whole world) and I try to focus on new places to visit as much as I can, but today I want to take a pause and think about a few of my favorite places in the world. Places I would go back to without a second thought, given the chance. Here they are:

It might look small on a map, but there’s tons of things to do in Croatia, and I only got to visit a few cities when I went. I did visit the Plitvice Lakes twice, and I would totally visit them again. Continue reading “5 Places I Want to See Again”

If you want to join me, the rules are simple: I announce the book we’ll be reading on the 1st day of each month and we start sharing our impressions of it in a new post that I’ll publish on the 20th. My Travel Plans for Summer 2017

Travel Plans

I try to make as many trips as I can through a year, but sadly, it’s hard to save up enough money to achieve ALL of my dreams (I have quite a few). That’s why last year wasn’t that wild in the travel department. This year isn’t going to be a whole year around the globe either, but at least a summer through Canada.

And Canada is a big country, to say the least.

Here’s where I plan to go.
